Bold Colors and Cold Hardy
The EverColor series of carex sedge grasses are vibrant additions to any garden. They work as a compliment to flowering annuals and perennials or glossy evergreen foliage of shrubs and small trees. Sedge grasses have been used for years to fill in borders and containers with weeping foliage that is as hardy as it is beautiful. These are a worthy replacement of the ever popular Mondo Grass and Dwarf Mondo Grass.
The carex sedge grass cultivars in the EverColor series are just as carefree as other sedge grasses, but offer more color options. They have green foliage that comes in a variety of shades from grey-green to chartreuse to golden yellow. Most of the varieties are variegated, which provides even more visual interest.
The carex sedge grass plants spread out from 1– 2 feet wide to form a thick lush carpet of small evergreen leaves that work well as a groundcover. The only question you’ll ask is, “Which color is best for my garden?”
