Shrubs and Bushes FAQ

What is the best month to plant shrubs?

Fall has been and will always be the best time to plant. All of the hard work and prep for spring will be over and the upkeep of plants during the hot summer months will be winding down leaving you will a fresh breeze and cool soil to begin working with.

What is the difference between a shrub and a bush?

Bushes are low-growing, woody shrubs that have branching that begin low to the ground. Larger shrub plants can be grown as a natural bushy plant or as a single trunk tree.

Pruning into a tree only requires you to keep all low hanging branches cut back to their origin.
