The beautiful, robust foliage of Alabama Sunrise Heucherella changes color with the seasons. During spring, the soft-edge lobed leaves are bright gold-green with red veins spreading out from the center. As the foliage matures it becomes greener but still retains the brilliant red flash. This perennial produces petite, white bell-shaped flowers in the late spring that extends from thin stalks above the leaves.
In Fall, the older leaves developing into coral tones that last through the winter.
These Heucherellas are hardy and tolerant of hot and humid summers.

Plant in Full Sun to Part Shade for best results. (We tend to recommend more on the part shade unless you are in cooler zones Ex: 4-6)
Water 3-4 times per week during the first growing season. In the second growing season, provide supplementary water in times of extreme heat and drought.
The Alabama Sunrise Heucherella prefers garden soil with good drainage for best results.
Perennials rarely need supplemental fertilizer, however, 3-4 inches of compost around the plant yearly provides nutrients to keep the plant happy and healthy.
