The Nanho Purple Butterfly Bush is medium sized deciduous shrub that can be evergreen in warmer climates (zone 5-9). Summer to Fall Nanho Purple will produce lovely lavender-purple conical bloom clusters which are great for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds! After a cluster of blooms has flowered out, trim the blooms off to encourage additional flowering.
For a seamless planting, plant your Nanho Purple Butterfly Bush 4 feet apart. For space between plantings, plant them 5-6+ feet apart.

This is a absolutely beautiful dainty and elegant bush! If lace could be a plant, it would be this one! I have two and I love them! They do require deadheading every other week, but what Joy to be out among my flowers. And they are constantly producing colorful cones for the butterflies.
