One of our favorite Southern Living plants, the Celebration Gaillardia is the first name in drought-tolerant perennials. This Gaillardia will take the heat in stride while producing some of the most eye-catching blooms around. Gorgeous velvet red to scarlet red blooms emerge nearly all year long, and won’t fade during the dog days of summer. Try them as a low-maintenance border, container planting, or mass planting, but however you use them, they won’t run up your water bill.
For a seamless planting, plant your Celebration Gaillardia 1 foot apart. Space them 15+ inches apart for gaps between shrubs.
