The Chinese Variegated Privet (Ligustrum sinense ‘Variegata’) offers unique creamy-white and green smooth textured foliage. In spring to mid-summer this plant will produce small white blooms. Once established the Chinese Variegated Privet can be drought, deer, insect, mildew, and heat resistant. Privet will respond well to trimming, shaping, and sizing and can even be limbed-up to form a small tree. This shrub is commonly used as a hedge, foundation, accent, specimen, or mid-sized screen in the landscape.
Spacing Your Variegated Privet
Plant Your Variegated Privet 3-4 feet apart for a seamless planting. Otherwise, space them 4-6+ feet apart to leave space between shrubs.
