The Silver Streak (Flax Lily) Dianella is a handsome broad-leafed boldly variegated green and cream white colored ornamental grass that has a clumping growth habit. In spring this specimen produces small plumes/spikes of blooms that are pale violet-blue that are followed by bright blue berries in summer. This plant is often used in mass plantings, ground covers, borders, woodland gardens, mixed container gardens, and in coastal landscapes. In warmer climates the Silver Streak will be evergreen, and in cooler climates it will die back in fall to re-emerge in spring.
Space Your Dianella Silver Streak 8-12 inches apart for a seamless planting. Otherwise, plant them 1+ feet-foot apart to leave space between shrubs.
