This exciting improvement from First Editions®, Little Devil™ Ninebark has an upright spreading habit and fine textured, dark foliage that sets it apart from other ninebark. It is also mildew resistant, so it doesn’t turn into a powdery white eyesore in your garden or shrub border. Clusters of small purplish-white flowers in June contrast nicely with the burgundy foliage. This low maintenance plant adapts to wet or dry soil. Little Devil™ ninebark is a good substitute for barberry in areas of the country where barberry may be invasive.
Spacing Your Little Devil Ninebark
Plant Your Little Devil Ninebark 2-3 feet apart for a seamless planting. Otherwise, space them 4+ feet apart to leave space between shrubs.
This variety goes dormant from Fall to Spring. If ordered in this time period the plants will arrive dormant.
