The Indigo Frost Agapanthus (Lily of the Nile) from the Southern Living Plant Collection really brings the blooms!
Each plant will produce multiple spikes that will produce impressive large blooms clusters of bi-colored trumpet-shaped white blooms with indigo-blue throats. Agapanthus is a deciduous perennial in most climates but can be evergreen in warmer climates. They will die back to the ground in the winter, only to reemerge in spring for another year of great blooms and color.
The Indigo frost is a very versatile plant that can be used in container gardens, or in the landscape in beds, borders, mass plantings or as an accent.
How to Space Your Indigo Frost Agapanthus
Space Your Indigo Frost Agapanthus 1-1.5 foot apart for seamless foliage. Otherwise, plant them 2.5-3 feet apart to leave space between shrubs.
