The Purple D’Oro Day lily is an easy to grow perennial produces beautiful lavender-purple 2-1/2 inch blooms that have yellow-green throats in summer into fall that attract butterflies. This day lily has a compact clumping growth habit and once mature and established it can be divided every few years if desired. This daylily can handle environmental stresses such as poor soils, heat, humidity, and drought conditions. Day lilies are often used in beds, borders, ground covers, mixed foundations, rock gardens, or edging in the landscape.
For a seamless planting, plant your Purple D’Oro Daylily 12-14 inches apart from plant center to plant center. For space between plantings, plant them 12-18+ inches apart.
