About Stella De Oro Daylily

The Stella De Oro Daylily is an easy to grow perennial produces beautiful golden-yellow two and a half inch blooms in summer into fall that attract butterflies. This day lily has a compact clumping growth habit and once mature and established it can be divided every few years if desired. This daylily can handle environmental stresses such as poor soils, heat, humidity, and drought conditions. Daylilies are often used in beds, borders, ground covers, mixed foundations, rock gardens, or edging in the landscape.

Planting Instructions

  • water before planting
  • plant in Full Sun
  • dig hole 3X the width of pot,
  • backfill and plant 1″-2″ above soil level
  • water and add more soil if needed
  • mulch plant
  • Water 2-3 times per week until established

How to Space Your Stella De Oro Daylily
