The Southern Living Plant Collection has recently released the Sunbow series of native Azaleas that bring exceptional color to the spring landscape. These native azaleas are deciduous and will go dormant during the winter. While they are dormant Sunbow Azaleas will set their buds on their branch tips, so you do not want to trim them until after you get your spring blooms! The Solar Ray Sunbow Azalea produces brilliant yellow single form blooms with shades of orange that have a sweet honey-suckle like fragrance that is great for attracting butterflies. These Azaleas grow well in a light shade to full sun location and should be planted in well-drained slightly acidic soil and fertilized early every spring with a slow release granular fertilizer.
*The Sunbow Solar Glow Azalea is a deciduous/semi-evergreen plant and will go dormant during the winter months. When this plant is ordered during the Fall/Winter expect seasonal foliage decline(discoloration, spots, leaf drop) or the plant to arrive completely dormant.*
Plant Your Sunbow Solar Glow Azalea 3-3.5 feet apart for a seamless planting. Otherwise, space them 4-5+ feet apart to leave space between shrubs.

Packaging can be better. Lots of the new buds and some branches were broken off on arrival
