Description
Description
Paul's Gold Chamaecyparis, also known as False Cypress, is a heat tolerant conifer with cascading golden evergreen foliage. The foliage varies from green to golden and provides excellent contrast of texture and color in your landscape. It's a low-maintenance shrub with an organic habit that matures to 5' tall by 6' wide. Will tolerate mild droughts but will not tolerate prolonged drought. Water regularly until established. Can be used as an accent, hedge, or as a specimen. It is a slow-growing evergreen, taking several years to reach maturity. It does best in full sun to partial shade. Fertilize in the spring with a well-balanced fertilizer after the threat of frost has subsided.
